Personal research project reconstructing the Edwardian-era dress worn by Mia Goth in Ti West's Pearl (2022). The garment was used as a reference to explore period pattern construction and historical fabric behavior inside CLO3D.
The dress was patterned from scratch following Edwardian construction principles, with a fitted bodice, embroidered front panel and a gathered skirt with back fullness. Embroidery textures were created in Photoshop using hand-modified alphas, and buttons were modeled and textured in Substance Painter. Final rendering and turnaround were produced inside CLO3D.
