About me

About me

Hi! I'm Daniel, a 3D Artist from Barcelona specialising in cloth simulation and digital fashion, with a background across animation production, toy industry, and fashion. My work has covered character FX pipelines, three years of 3D production in the toy industry, and freelance work for clients in fashion and gaming.

I trained in 3D Animation and VFX at La Salle University, where I specialised in cloth simulation and character FX. My bachelor's thesis was a full CFX pipeline lead on an animated short: costume construction, Houdini simulation, and grooming for three characters across all production shots. From there I spent three years working as a 3D Artist across modelling, cloth, rendering, and asset production for marketing and packaging at a professional production scale.

Alongside that, I completed a Master's in Fashion at IED Barcelona which gave me the design and industry language to work credibly on the physical and digital sides of the garment.

Outside of work I volunteer at a cat shelter, read across sociology, cognitive science, and design, and I'm a generally curious person trying to keep learning outside of whatever I'm working on

I work in English, Spanish, Catalan, French, and Japanese.

Open to freelance projects. Remote-friendly.
